Group Signatures from Lattices: Simpler, Tighter, Shorter, Ring-Based
نویسندگان
چکیده
We introduce a lattice-based group signature scheme that provides several noticeable improvements over the contemporary ones: simpler construction, weaker hardness assumptions, and shorter sizes of keys and signatures. Moreover, our scheme can be transformed into the ring setting, resulting in a scheme based on ideal lattices, in which the public key and signature both have bitsize Õ(n·logN), for security parameter n, and for group of N users. Towards our goal, we construct a new lattice-based cryptographic tool: a statistical zero-knowledge argument of knowledge of a valid message-signature pair for Boyen’s signature scheme (Boyen, PKC’10), which potentially can be used as the building block to design various privacy-enhancing cryptographic constructions.

Forward-Secure Identity-Based Shorter Blind Signature from Lattices
Blind signature (BS) plays one of key ingredients in electronic cash or electronic voting system. However, the key exposures bring out very serious problems in insecure mobile devices. Forward-secure blind signatures preserve the validity of past signatures and prevent a forger from forging past signatures even if current secret key has been compromised. In this paper, we propose the first forw...

emph{ Smooth Projective Hash Functions } ( SPHFs ) as a specific pattern of zero knowledge proof system are fundamental tools to build many efficient cryptographic schemes and protocols. As an application of SPHFs, emph { Password - Based Authenticated Key Exchange } ( PAKE ) protocol is well-studied area in the last few years. In 2009, Katz and Vaikuntanathan described the first lattice-based ...
متن کاملConstant-size Group Signatures from Lattices
Lattice-based group signature is an active research topic in recent years. Since the pioneering work by Gordon, Katz and Vaikuntanathan (Asiacrypt 2010), ten other schemes have been proposed, providing various improvements in terms of security, efficiency and functionality. However, in all known constructions, one has to fix the number N of group users in the setup stage, and as a consequence, ...
متن کاملSimpler Efficient Group Signatures from Lattices
A group signature allows a group member to anonymously sign messages on behalf of the group. In the past few years, new group signatures based on lattice problems have appeared: the most efficient lattice-based constructions are due to Laguillaumie et al. (Asiacrypt ’13) and Langlois et al. (PKC ’14). Both have at leastO(n log n logN)-bit group public key andO(n log n logN)-bit signature, where...
متن کاملShort Accountable Ring Signatures Based on DDH
Ring signatures and group signatures are prominent cryptographic primitives offering a combination of privacy and authentication. They enable individual users to anonymously sign messages on behalf of a group of users. In ring signatures, the group, i.e. the ring, is chosen in an ad hoc manner by the signer. In group signatures, group membership is controlled by a group manager. Group signature...
